India Monsooned Malabar
This unique coffee is produced by exposing green beans to the annual monsoon winds — mimicking the slow boat journey beans once took from India to Europe.
The “monsooning process” transforms the coffee into a very full-bodied, extremely earthy cup with virtually no acidity (or “brightness,” as we like to call it).
This is a very particular cup: extremely earthy, full-bodied, and almost no brightness. If it is your coffee, you will know right away, so start with a smaller bag.
